The 2014 Heritage Festival took attendees along for the ride during a fantastic month of events, tours and activities celebrating the journeys that are representative of all Victorians. Journeys, the theme for 2014, embraced many stories and milestones that have informed Victoria’s history – some 60,000 years old, and some much more recent. From Warracknabeal to Wurundjeri stories, from Bolin-Bolin Billabong to Boutique Magnifique, Festival events celebrated journeys in our history and heritage.
In 2014 Heritage Festival attendees could take a guided tour of Tasma Terrace, built in the 1870s/80s by George Nipper and designed by Charles Webb.
