Opulent mansion designed by JAB Koch. One of Australia's most significant nineteenth century mansions. Originally called Ontario; renamed Labassa in 1904 by new owner, JB Watson, after a Fijian village where he spent a holiday.

Opening hours

Open on the third Sunday of each month from 10.30am to 4.30pm. Tours of the house at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm. There is also an external tour at 1pm. Also open 8 November 2015 for special Social History Open Day. Closed in December. To make an appointment for group tours (also available on open days), please call (03) 9656 9889.
