Celebrate Halloween with the whole family at Labassa Mansion, one of Melbourne's most spectacular heritage homes. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of Halloween-themed games, storytelling, face painting, a garden scavenger hunt, spooky music and a best dressed competition in the enchanting surrounds of this historic French Renaissance mansion.
Your evening begins with a friendly greeting from the always-entertaining Labassa Lurch at the grand front door. We invite everyone to join in the spirit of the night by dressing up in your favourite Halloween style – from cheeky pumpkins to friendly witches. (Please note: stiletto heels are not permitted inside the mansion.)
What’s On
- Games Corner – Visit the Games Corner and try your hand at classic Halloween-inspired activities including Put a Kiss on the Frog and Bow Tie on the Skeleton. Prizes await successful participants.
- Storytelling Corner – Gather with family and friends for entertaining Halloween stories perfect for young listeners and budding imaginations.
- Face Painting – become a butterfly, superhero, or friendly ghost in the Dining Room. (Children Only)
- Family Photo Corner – take a fun keepsake snap with the Addams Family cut-out.
- Spooky Music – fun, not frightening, tunes playing through the house.
- Garden Scavenger Hunt – follow clues through the gardens and discover spooky surprises, including gummy teeth, frogs and eyeballs.
- Best Dressed Competition – Show off your creativity for the chance to win a prize for the most imaginative Halloween costume.
