Looking to get outdoors these school holidays? Come and explore the historic Como House with your intrepid youngsters and make precious memories together.
The National Trust is offering two dedicated programs just for the kids, taking a fun and educational ‘deep-dive’ into past lives and landscapes.
Discover Past Landscapes
Morning Session: 10am to 12.30pm
Uncover your inner Archaeologist in our simulated archaeological site, and learn how to survey and read the landscape with our experienced National Trust facilitators. Come with your hat, water bottle and sunscreen and prepare to get your hands dirty.
Discover Past Lives
Afternoon Session: 1pm to 3pm
Go back in time and discover what it would have been like to be a child living at Como House. Enjoy old-fashioned games, tea parties on the lawn and scavenger hunts through the sprawling grounds. The little guests will also enjoy a specially designed house tour with ballroom dancing
Programs can be booked individually or for the full day. A single session is $25 per child, or $18 for NTAV Members. Or $40 for both sessions, $30 for NTAV Members. Cost includes one carer per family group.
These programs are proudly run by The National Trust of Australia (Victoria), the state’s premier heritage and conservation organisation. Become a member today to enjoy FREE or discounted access to year-round events for the whole family, and to help conserve and protect Victoria’s heritage for future generations to enjoy.
