Together with some of the local residents whose properties adjoin the earliest development stages of the estate, the National Trust Mornington Peninsula Branch invites you to take the opportunity to explore this heritage area.
On arrival a detailed information brochure relating to the estate will be available. Timed tours on the half hour will provide:
- A private allotment tour with talk highlighting features of the estate.
- Chat session by a descendant of the first house built on the estate in 1925 giving insights into the origins of development
- Private garden viewing of a renowned area garden
- Exterior viewing opportunity of (about to be restored) 1960s ‘Age Small Home Service’ residence of which Robin Boyd was the original director.
This event is run by the National Trust Mornington Peninsula Branch
