Discover the living landscapes of National Trust Victoria this Spring.
Our gardens and bushland are more than beautiful. They’re living landscapes buzzing with native bees, birds, bugs and bats. This November, the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) invites you to explore and celebrate the nature that calls our places home.
Join entomologists, bat researchers, garden experts and nature guides for a month of walks, talks, workshops and family days across Rippon Lea Estate, Como House and Garden, Tasma Terrace and online. You can hunt for mini-beasts, build a home for native bees, spot birds in a 19th-century garden, or log your observations as a citizen scientist. There’s something for every age and every level of curiosity.
Pollinator Week (7–15 November)
Celebrate Australian Pollinator Week with garden walks, talks and hands-on workshops about the bees, butterflies and insects that keep our gardens thriving.
Bugs in my Backyard Week (16–22 November)
Look closer at the small wonders around us, from urban nature journaling in the city to forest bathing at Rippon Lea.
Great Southern Bioblitz (27–30 November)
Become a citizen scientist. Join us after dark to learn about Melbourne’s native bats, then record your own sightings for the Great Southern Bioblitz.
Many events are free, and members enjoy discounted tickets. Places are limited, so explore the program below and book soon!
