Heritage Festival 2011
The 2011 Heritage Festival theme From Steam to Surf was based around a global celebration of the heritage of water.
2011 marked the rebirth of the National Trust Heritage Festival in Victoria and was made possible by funding provided by the Commonwealth Government. The From Steam to Surf theme recognised the importance of steam power in the nineteenth century, and the tangible and intangible significance of surfing in post-war Victoria.
