From surviving incarceration to life on the run, he defied the odds and emerged as an acclaimed novelist, public speaker, and philanthropist. Listen and watch, as he opens up about finding freedom, his music, and his shares snippets of his life philosophy.

Immerse yourself in this meticulously curated exhibition, developed in collaboration with Gregory David Roberts, the producers of the Apple TV series “Shantaram,” and the National Trust, Victoria. Join exhibition curator Jane Scott as she guides you through ‘Shantaram: A Journey from Punishment to Peace’, followed by a tour of the H-Division with our National Trust Guides with further stories and insights into Gregory David Roberts life at Pentridge Prison.

Join the author of Shantaram Gregory David Roberts (live from Jamaica) in conversation with Michael Veitch, author and former ABC television and radio presenter, as they discuss Melbourne, freedom, life choices and the power of redemption.

Cost: $45 (talk only) or $65 when combined with a H Division Tour of Pentridge Prison, with further stories and insights into Greg’s life in prison.  Tickets to join the event online-only are also available for $25.
