Meet the author and hear the story in the ballroom at Rippon Lea Estate.
Join us in the ballroom at Rippon Lea with author, the National Trust’s very own Matt Chester, as he reads from the sweetest teddy bear book going around; Elm & Willow’s Adventures at Rippon Lea: Teddy Bears’ Picnic. The reading will be accompanied by a live piano score making sure the teddy bears all have the most wonderful of possible adventures.
Melbourne local and friend of Rippon Lea, Joleen Jenkins, illustrated the storybook filling it with images of teddy bear friends exploring the grounds of Rippon Lea and meeting some helpful – and not so helpful – animal accomplices along the way.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase after the reading or bundled with your ticket at the time of booking. This is a great opportunity for families to purchase a special memento of their visit to a signature National Trust property.
Please bring a comfy cushion to sit on as we take over the beautiful ballroom at Rippon Lea.
