Miss Fisher Exhibition | Curator Talk

Join us for the ultimate Miss Fisher experience at Rippon Lea with a curator talk, afternoon tea and exclusive exhibition viewing

Join our curator, Elizabeth Anya-Petrivna, for a special talk with afternoon tea before making your way to the mansion for an exclusive viewing of the Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears exhibition.

About the Curator’s talk

Meet at the ticket office at 1:30 pm for check in at Rippon Lea Estate.

You will be escorted to the Tea Rooms. Enjoy your talk with the exhibition’s curator while afternoon tea is served. Afternoon tea will consist of scones or a slice of cake served with a hot or cold drink.

Exclusive entry to the exhibition is at 2:30pm.

After viewing the exhibition you are free to enjoy and wander around our beautiful gardens.

Immerse yourself in the world of Phryne Fisher and unravel a decade-old mystery concerning priceless emeralds, ancient curses and the truth behind the disappearance of a forgotten tribe.

The exhibition also includes costumes designed by Marion Boyce from the original Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, as well as pieces designed by Maria Pattison and Dong Xiangshuai from the expanded Miss Fisher universe including the 1960s spin-off series Ms Fisher’s Modern Mysteries and the Chinese adaptation Miss S, where Phryne is reimagined as a crime-fighting sleuth in 1930s Shanghai

“Miss Phryne Fisher is iconic. The Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears exhibition invites visitors to follow the narrative of the film, whilst giving us a glimpse of the world behind the camera and highlighting her superhero status from sportswear to figure-hugging evening gowns and desert action comfort.”
