Step into a little slice of France at Le Festival Français, a vibrant celebration of French food, wine, music, language and culture set within the magnificent grounds of The Heights, one of Geelong's most treasured heritage homes and gardens.
The Heights is the largest surviving prefabricated house in Victoria, surrounded by beautifully maintained historic gardens, making it the perfect setting for a weekend of French-inspired festivities.
Presented by Alliance Française de Geelong in partnership with the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), this much-loved annual festival celebrates not only France but the diverse cultures of the global Francophone community. Across two exciting days, visitors can explore a bustling French market, savour authentic French cuisine and wines, discover specialty traders from French-speaking countries, and enjoy a lively program of music, entertainment and cultural experiences.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, with a dedicated children’s zone, roving performers, live music, heritage house tours and gourmet food stalls creating a festive atmosphere throughout the historic estate. Whether you’re searching for artisanal products, indulging in French delicacies, or simply relaxing amongst the gardens, Le Festival Français offers a true taste of la belle vie in the heart of Geelong.
