The Heights is the largest surviving prefabricated house in Victoria, surrounded by beautifully maintained historic gardens, making it the perfect setting for a weekend of French-inspired festivities.
Presented by Alliance Française de Geelong in partnership with the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), this much-loved annual festival celebrates not only France but the diverse cultures of the global Francophone community. Across two exciting days, visitors can explore a bustling French market, savour authentic French cuisine and wines, discover specialty traders from French-speaking countries, and enjoy a lively program of music, entertainment and cultural experiences.
Families will find plenty to enjoy, with a dedicated children’s zone, roving performers, live music, heritage house tours and gourmet food stalls creating a festive atmosphere throughout the historic estate. Nocturne: French DJ Night at The Heights
Continue the celebrations on Saturday evening with NOCTURNE, an exclusive outdoor DJ event featuring French-born DJ LILIAN. Now a rising talent within Melbourne’s underground electronic music scene, LILIAN is renowned for his ability to read and elevate dance floor energy, delivering an unforgettable soundtrack beneath the stars.

Le Langage Des Fleurs (The Language of Flowers) Exhibition
A special exhibition will be taking place inside the house during the festival.
Step into a world of flowers, art, history and symbolism at Le Langage des Fleurs (The Language of Flowers), a unique exhibition presented at The Heights Heritage House and Garden during Le Festival Français 2026.
Discover contemporary artworks, historic objects, rare fashion and dress collection pieces, and fascinating stories inspired by the Victorian-era language of flowers. Explore beautifully curated displays throughout one of Geelong’s most significant heritage homes, with guided tours, interactive experiences and bilingual English and French interpretation.
Tickets to the exhibition must be purchased separately.
Entry to the exhibition is by guided house tour and runs every half an hour between 10.30am and 5pm (last tour 4.30pm) on both Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online or on the day.
