Easter Day at Rippon Lea Estate will be packed with fun – explore the Maker’s Market from Rose St. on the main lawn, join The Great Rippon Lea Egg & Spoon Race, and let the kids enjoy pony rides. Plus, expect a visit from the Easter Bunny!
Purchase a picnic to collect on the day or bring your own to enjoy on sprawling lawns and around majestic gardens, visit the stunning Dahlia collection, and wander the Mansion with openings from 11am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 2.30pm.
The Great Egg & Spoon Race
The Egg & Spoon race will take place at 11am, 12pm and 2pm – spots are limited and we encourage you to register in advance. Children 5-16 years of age can enter the Egg & Spoon Race and will be given a spoon and miniature chocolate egg to race with. Each race will be divided into age groups (5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-16 years) to give everyone a fair go with prizes up for grabs.
Participation in the Egg & Spoon race is free. Entry to the Estate on this day is by gold coin per person.
