It’s a sheep spectacular in the Yarra Valley!

Come and meet the cutest sheep in the world and be immersed wool at the Fleece, Fibre and Fancywork event at Gulf Station. Speak with the breeders to learn all about the various sheep breeds, watch shearing demonstrations, see fleece being spun and be amazed by the skills of textile, wool and fibre artists. There will also be kid’s activities, food trucks, retail stalls and tours of Gulf Station’s historic homestead and gardens.

Established in the 1850s, Gulf Station is one of the oldest and most intact examples of a pioneer farm complex in Australia and is a perfect setting to celebrate sheep and traditional skills using wool and fibre including knitting, felting, spinning, weaving, embroidery, lace making and more.

This event is run as part of the Australian Heritage Festival (Victoria).
