Enjoy an engaging Intro to Beekeeping talk by Stephen Fridey, Vice-President of the Geelong Beekeeping Club. Discover the history of bees and modern beekeeping, what’s inside a hive, risks facing bees, and the importance of bee-friendly plants. Members will be given the opportunity taste a selection of honeys, including our very own Heights Honey, produced in partnership with the Geelong Beekeeping Club.
Following the talk, members will enjoy a rare Open House experience at The Heights Heritage House and Garden. Usually accessible by guided tour only, this special event invites members to wander the grand interiors and discover one of Victoria’s largest surviving prefabricated homes at their own pace.
