Three months is a long time to be inside. It’s time to get out and about, enjoy our heritage and come together (standing 1.5 metres apart) as a community again.

We announced in March 2020 that we would be closing our properties until 30 June to do our bit to keep the community safe through the global COVID-19 health crisis. We are proud to have been a part of the effort across New South Wales because celebrating Australia’s yesterdays, today's and tomorrows means keeping everyone healthy today, so you can enjoy exploring heritage sites for many tomorrows.

We will continue to reopen our heritage properties and plan future events with everyone’s safety as our top priority. From 3 July 2020, we will reopen the S.H. Ervin Gallery, Norman Lindsay Gallery, Everglades House & Garden and Old Government House. As and when we are able to welcome you back to more of our beautiful sites, we will update this page.

You can also subscribe to our eNews and follow us on Facebook so you can stay in touch with all of our announcements.

There are changes to how you visit National Trust properties in New South Wales so that we can ensure everyone’s safety. This includes timed entry and pre-purchased tickets so we can manage the number of people on site and do our bit for tracing and COVID-safe management practices. See our Terms & Conditions of Entry for further details.

We are delighted to be welcoming you back to the places where heritage comes to life.
