Inspired by all things French, Le Festival Français is a celebration of the food, wine, language and above all, the culture of France.
To be held in the picturesque setting of The Heights Heritage House and Garden in Newtown, Geelong, Le Festival Français is a two-day weekend event.
Festival-goers are encouraged to come early and stay the whole day – there’s so much to see and do – loads of fun, activities and free entertainment for all ages.
A champagne bar, food court, picnic area and dining spaces are dotted around the gardens with market stalls throughout the historical site.
There’s plenty of free roving and main stage entertainment, puppetry and circus workshops for all ages, a Kids’ Zone offers loads of free activities and free face painting.
Saturday evening sees The Heights come alive with a special ticketed music soirée, where the talented Langue de Chat will perform, ‘French Musette and Chansons’.
