Becoming a national event in this year, the 2012 National Trust Heritage Festival celebrated our diverse Australian heritage through linking with and supporting the Australian Government’s Australian Heritage Week. The Innovation and Invention theme showcased the astonishing and life changing inventions made by Australians, and celebrated Victoria as the birthplace of many notable innovations.
