National Trust properties to close due to Bushfire Risks

The NSW Premier has declared a state of emergency for the next seven days.

We are following recommendations from the New South Wales Rural Fire Service and closing the following properties in high risk areas on 12 November 2019:

Given that many of our staff and volunteers at Old Government House live in high risk areas and would prefer to be close to home with their families, we are also closing this National Trust property tomorrow.

The National Trust of Australia (New South Wales) expresses its sympathies to families who have lost loved ones and homes as a result of the bushfires in New South Wales, and our ongoing concern for communities affected by and under threat. We are incredibly grateful for the courage and hard work of our fire and emergency services, and the tremendous efforts of charities and community groups providing support across the state.
