The National Trust (NSW) is seeking Expressions of Interest for a food and beverage operation at the UNESCO World Heritage site Old Government House.
The National Trust is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced individuals or companies looking for a unique opportunity to develop their operations in hospitality by running a contemporary food and beverage enterprise at Old Government House in Parramatta Park.
Located in the newly conserved and renovated Civil Officers Quarters, the cafe features a picturesque setting with views across the courtyard of Old Government House down to Parramatta River. The verandah of the cafe allows for seating of approximately 30 people with the possibility for further outdoor seating of approximately 50 people. Old Government House boasts a prominent position at the top of Rose Hill within bustling Parramatta Park and is an easy walk from both Parramatta and Westmead train stations.
The National Trust views this tenancy as a long-term partnership and is seeking a food and beverage operator who will meet the needs of the local community, including museum and park visitors, as well as providing a sustainable business model for the National Trust.
