In 2026, the awards will recognise nine project categories.
To be eligible to enter you must be a National Trust member. If you’re entering the awards and are not currently a member, an individual membership rate will be added to your entry cart.
The project you are entering must have been completed/will be completed between 1 April 2025 – 1 March 2026 and the project/activity must have been carried out, published or have been available to the community in New South Wales.
Entries close 11:59pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 4 March 2026.
Entry requirements
To support your entry, you are required to supply:
- A single PDF document summarising the project and outcomes in a concise fashion. This will form your main entry component. Please include any relevant supportive material (imagery, drawings, video links and so on) within the same document for judging. Read our detailed submission recommendations.
- Up to three high resolution images of your project. For those successfully shortlisted, images may be used for marketing purposes including, but not limited to, media releases, social media, online and print promotion and as part of the Awards ceremony presentation.
Note: Electronic versions of publications or resources are preferred. If you have hardcopies, please contact us via awards@nationaltrust.com.au to arrange delivery of at least two copies for the judges. These can be returned with the exception of one copy for the National Trust Archives.
