‘A Room with a View’ is a collection of works by multi award-winning artist Jane Wray showcasing her diverse and fascinating take on the world.
Jane Wray is a multi award-winning artist who has been recognised both nationally and internationally. Jane seeks to create an intense drama through the strategic use of vibrant colour and texture. In its essence, Jane’s works are designed for enjoyment and devised to hold the viewer and invite them to appreciate the minutiae of the works as well as the overall impact.
Jane has been working solely in soft pastels for over ten years but has recently added some pen and ink pieces to her collection. Her work encompasses all genres but mainly focusses on landscape and still life and is most often contemporary realism. Her collections also include abstract and limited edition prints.
Jane is always exploring new subjects and taking on the challenge of the creative process with new focus. Her works are often completed using different techniques which other artists often comment upon. Challenge is a vital part of her raison d’etre.
This collection, ‘A Room with a View’, encompasses many of the elements of Jane’s diverse and fascinating take on the world.
All artworks will be for sale. A percentage of all sales goes towards supporting the work of the National Trust (NSW).

For visitors wanting to make a day of it, book a guided tour of the house to hear the fascinating stories of James Fairfax’s impressive art and furniture collection and stop into Hearth by Moonacres café for lunch and refreshments. The Southern Highlands Regional Gallery Ngununggula and Bowral Honey Farm are also located within the grounds.
