“The layer of vegetation in a forest or woodland, the seen and under seen, what lies beneath”. The annual spring exhibition by the Artists of the Round Yard presents new works by twelve members of the collective.

The Artists of the Round Yard invite you to their spring 2025 exhibition – Understory.

Each of the artists in the group brings a particular interpretation of the exhibition’s theme, providing a rich and surprising look at what lies beneath the drive to create work in their chosen medium. Work to be exhibited will include figurative and landscape painting, prints, etched drawings, ceramics, stone sculpture, jewellery, textile and mixed media artworks.

Some of the artists will be working in the Round Yard and will be available to discuss their work during the Southern Highlands Arts Trail weekends of 1 – 2 and 8 – 9 November.

Participating artists include Brock Sykes; Gillian Baldock; Helen Oprey; Justin Pearson; Leanne Booth; Marlene Murray; Robyn Rumpf; Slavica Zivkovic; Sue Wallace; Toni Warburton; Tracy Hopkirk; Wendi Toohey.

All artworks will be for sale. A percentage of all sales goes towards supporting the work of the National Trust (NSW).
