Statement on the Voice to Parliament

On 14 October 2023 Australians will be asked to vote Yes or No in the Voice referendum. The National Trust (NSW) acknowledges the importance of this national referendum and the democratic process to consider recognising the First Nations peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in the Australian Constitution.

Before heading to the polls on 14 October, we encourage the community to research and read accurate information about the referendum, and to make an informed decision that is right for them.
