Sunday 8th May is Mother’s Day. If you’re looking for a special way to treat Mum this year, we have lots of ideas for relaxed garden strolls, historical day trips, and lavish afternoon teas. Here are some of our events happening across NSW.

Clydesdales and Carnations

Yass

Enjoy flowers upon arrival and a Clydesdale horse meet and greet at historic Cooma Cottage as part of a new Mother’s Day event for the whole family.

Tea at Grossmann House

Maitland

Take a tour of a fully restored Victorian house museum, followed by a sumptuous offering of homemade tarts, sandwiches, tea and coffee in this beautiful National Trust property.

Newcastle

A much-loved tradition. Treat mum to a slice of history and enjoy a special display of memorabilia from three generations of remarkable Porter women.

Autumn colour at Retford Park

Bowral

Be mesmerised by the autumn gardens at Retford Park in Bowral. The Persian Carpet perennial border is peaking, trees are turning, and fungi are beginning to fruit. After exploring the gardens, stop by the regional art gallery and enjoy a bite to eat at the newly opened café.
