In New South Wales, the National Trust realises its mission and vision as a result of the work of more than 1,200 volunteers and 140 staff. As a leading conservation charity, the National Trust (NSW)'s vision is to bring the heritage of New South Wales to life for future generations.

Community is at the heart of the National Trust. The charity represents the community’s passion for the protection of heritage. The charity’s leadership is elected by its members. The charity creates experiences and events to celebrate heritage with the community.

The National Trust is a diverse and inclusive organisation, welcoming talented staff and volunteers from across the community, representing the interests and perspectives of all age groups, genders and cultural backgrounds.

Did you know…

Many of the National Trust’s initiatives and programs for conservation are generously funded by the Government, however, this only accounts for 10 percent of the organisation’s funding. All other financial support is generated through ticket sales when visitors come to properties and attend events, and through the generosity of National Trust members and donors.
