Winter Solstice Celebration Day

The Winter Solstice Day celebrates renewal and the change of season, visit Lindesay, enjoy warming soup and purchase homemade handcrafts and National Trust goods.

The Winter Solstice Celebration Day at Lindesay is a day to recognise the change of season. After the shortest day of the year we look forward to longer days and the promise of a long hot summer ahead.

The marquee at Lindesay will be decorated and will have National Trust goods for sale, music and specially homemade Winter and Yule goods.

Lunch will be served: two varieties of hot soup with a bread roll as well as tea, coffee and homemade slices. To really get into the spirit of the day, Mulled Cider will also be available.

Members of the Sydney City Skywatchers Group will be giving talks about the Winter Solstice and you can wander the house and garden at your leisure.
