Near and Far explores painting as a contemplative and spiritual practice, where process and meaning are inseparable. The technique and subject evoke life's disorienting moments, challenging us to reshape ways of seeing.
Using different painterly techniques, Corinne’s work holds space for both harmony and disruption, order and irregularity, beauty and challenge. The tension between control and surrender inherent in the painting process and the spatial ambiguity of the imagery mirrors life’s paradox that to rise often involves falling.
Enjoy the exhibition while watching the artist’s painting demonstration in the gallery. There will be an artist talk and other workshop activities during the exhibition period.
All works will be available for purchase and proceeds support the work of the National Trust (NSW).
While you’re visiting, be sure to take a stroll through the beautifully maintained gardens, enjoy sweeping views of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains, explore the Art Deco house and make time for a delicious Devonshire Tea in the Everglades House & Gardens tea rooms.
