Peninsula Farm – Year 1

Humanities and Social Sciences – History

PRESENT AND PAST FAMILY LIFE

The Year 1 curriculum extends the concepts of continuity and change through the exploration of family life and examining the ways that life has changed or remained the same over time; and how the present is similar to, or different from, the past. A visit to Peninsula Farm will stimulate students’ curiosity about the olden days and contribute to their development of the sequence of time. Comprehensive pre and post visit activity suggestions will further enhance and consolidate student learning.
