Partner with us to conserve heritage.

The National Trust (NSW) invites trusts and foundations to join us in developing shared opportunities that meet your priorities and contribute in a meaningful way to our large range of projects that need funding support.

You can support us in a variety of ways including:

Untied funding – donations and grants are used where they are needed most
Major projects – specific conservation projects are matched with your areas of interest
Scholarships – donations fund the employment of scholars, researchers and experts to help our conservation, advocacy and archive work.

Untied funding

A generous three-year grant from the Maple-Brown Family Foundation has allowed us to carry out vital repair and maintenance work at a number of heritage destinations including Retford Park, Ahimsa, Norman Lindsay Gallery and Cooma Cottage.

Conservation projects

The Copland Foundation recently funded the yellow dress project, in which fragments from a mysterious silk dress found in our collection revealed rich layers of history stretching back 270 years.

Major projects

J. Permsew Foundation has supported a major research project focusing on the large textile collection found at Old Government House, Grossman House, Riversdale and Saumarez Homestead.

Archives scholarship

The David Sheedy Foundation generously funds an Archives Scholarship that provides a part-time role for an emerging archivist.
