Come along to Wine & Jazz in the Garden at the Norman Lindsay Gallery. Get your friends together to enjoy good music, good wine and good times with the Liz Player Quartet!
Returning this autumn, the beloved Jazz & Wine in the Garden festival at Norman Lindsay Gallery offers something for everyone.
Savour tastings from local wineries, tap along to lively dance performances by The Sydney Swing Katz, and enjoy soulful live jazz by Liz Player Quartet.
Leading the quartet is Sydney-based jazz vocalist Elizabeth “Liz” Player, an emerging artist recognised for her expressive phrasing, confidence, and engagement with the jazz tradition. Player came to national attention following her appearance on The Voice Australia, where her jazz-driven performances stood apart for its authenticity and musical style.
Beyond television, Player has steadily built a reputation within Australia’s jazz community. In 2025, she was Jazz Artist in Residence with 2MBS Fine Music Sydney. Her work reflects a commitment to swing, storytelling, and the lineage of jazz vocal performance, while remaining grounded in a modern Australian context.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Norman Lindsay Gallery in the Blue Mountains, it’s the perfect way to celebrate jazz, wine, culture or simply a delightful afternoon with great company!
