This special self-drive Spring House & Garden Inspections Tour will give you exclusive access to three stunning Southern Highlands properties, set among blooming gardens and picturesque country landscapes.
Begin your day at Golden Vale Homestead, where we’ll rendezvous for morning tea and a briefing on the day’s activities. Explore Golden Vale’s expansive gardens, extensive collection of furniture and art, as well as outbuildings dating from the nineteenth century, including stables and woolshed.
We will divide into two smaller groups when leaving Golden Vale – this helps with parking and movement around our next properties. Your second property will be before lunch and the third after returning from lunch – all this to enable easier access in the busy spring gardens and inside our host’s properties. Your event brochure will provide clear directions for each group.
Bring a picnic to enjoy at your leisure or take the opportunity to lunch at one of the local cafes or restaurants. Some recommended dining options will be provided in your tour notes on the day. The tour concludes about 3:30pm.
