Polish your wheel rims and air your best driving clothes as you prepare for an unmissable jaunt through the Shoalhaven - the perfect opportunity to see this picturesque region and its treasures through a different lens.
Test your navigator’s skills as you wind your way through the highways and byways of the Shoalhaven on this exciting ‘Car Observation Run’. Your instructions and navigator will guide you to a series of landmarks, some more familiar than others, but all playing a significant role in the scattered communities that make up the Shoalhaven. Be sure to pay careful note of the instructions, look for clues and answer the questions correctly to receive bonus points for a prize at the end of the day.
Pack a picnic lunch or take advantage of the many food outlets located around our suggested lunch stop.
The day will finish at the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, home to the 1911 Lady Denman Ferry, the only surviving wooden Sydney Harbour Ferry and a world-renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. Here you will enjoy a light afternoon tea and prize-giving for ‘best dressed group’, ‘oldest motor to pass the finish line’, ‘most knowledgeable group’ and more, followed by free time to browse the museum before you depart.
