Young creatives aged 8 to 12 years are invited to join celebrated illustrator Bill Hope for a hands-on drawing adventure at Everglades House & Gardens.
Bill is the illustrator of the best-selling ‘You and Me‘ series written by Australia’s current Children’s Laureate Andy Griffiths.
Children will draw an imagined interior of historic Everglades house before bringing their biggest ideas to life by designing their very own castle.
Whether they’re aspiring artists or just love to draw, this workshop is designed to inspire creativity, storytelling and confidence. No experience required.
Adults can relax in the gardens or head to the tea rooms, which will be open for the duration of the workshop.
About Bill
Ten years into his career, Bill has established himself as one of the most versatile illustrators and graphic recorders working in the industry. His command of traditional drawing has given him the flexibility to work across a broad range of disciplines from storyboarding to children’s books, live illustration, technical diagrams, editorial and animation. He has published 9 illustrated books, held a series of solo exhibitions and has ongoing representation through the Lost Bear Fine Art Gallery. His graphic novel ‘An Interior Life’ won the Golden Ledger award for Australian Comics.
