Help us raise $250,000 before 30 June 2026, to keep Lindesay at its finest.

Perched above Sydney Harbour on Gadigal Country, Lindesay has stood at Darling Point since 1834, and is the first domestic Gothic Revival villa erected in New South Wales. Since its generous donation to the National Trust in 1963, careful conservation and the dedication of volunteers have ensured Lindesay’s enduring presence as both a cultural landmark and an elegant harbourside venue.

To ensure Lindesay’s unique character is maintained to the high standards of a property of national significance, further conservation works are now planned. We must raise $250,000 for the targeted conservation of interiors, gardens and visitor facilities to secure Lindesay’s next chapter, ensuring it continues to inspire a sense of belonging and enjoyment on Sydney Harbour.
