Notification indicates that a programme of restoration works will commence shortly at the State Heritage listed Juniper Hall in Paddington. The initial programme is expected to take up to 12 months and focus on property conservation including new exterior paint, restoration of the veranda and garden maintenance.
The owner has an existing development application for Juniper Hall which will deliver an art gallery accessible to the public, along with the necessary conservation works.
The heritage building restoration works are managed in line with the Conservation Management Plan.
The National Trust welcomes the start of these important works, the related conservation impact and the adaptive reuse for public enjoyment of this state significant place.
Juniper Hall remains protected under its Conservation Management Plan and State Heritage Register listing. The National Trust will continue to review any proposed future works for Juniper Hall.
