The Old Sweet Shop built in 1946 was originally the post office at Moonta Mines.
The Old Sweet Shop is a small building filled with character. Pop in and enjoy the experience of visiting a traditional old fashioned sweet shop, you may even be lucky enough to see the staff making the Old Sweet Shop’s famous Spuds. The shop sells a large variety of old fashioned sweets and English lollies, as well as old fashioned traditional soft drinks, made in South Australia and is a favourite with visitors who come to experience the heritage of the Moonta Mines area.
