NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

   Thursday 30 October 2025, 5.30pm.

  4. Special Resolution

The Council moves the following amendment be made to the Constitution in recognition of the changing nature of family households who may not reside at the same address.

‘That Clause 10.4 of the Constitution be amended as follows:

(g) Household Members: may be up to two adult persons who reside at the same address together with and any dependents up to four children under the age of 18 years of those persons, who shall be approved by the directors as such and who are subscribers to the National Trust of annual fees fixed and determined by the directors.’

In accordance with the Constitution, the following Councillors will stand down at the AGM, but are eligible for re-election: Gary Kent, Linda Roberts, Kerry Blackburn, and John Baker.

Council members who continue for the second year of their term are: Eric Martin, Scott McAlister and Mary Johnston. Linda Keyser stays on Council in her role as Executive Director.

There are seven vacancies on Council that can be filled at the AGM. See below for nomination form.

Nomination for Councillor

Members are encouraged to consider nominating for election to Council. Nominations must be made and seconded in writing signed by current members of the Trust, and with signed consent of the nominee.

Nominations must reach the office by Monday October 27, 2025

Appointment of proxy

Members have the right to appoint proxies. If a member appoints a proxy, the proxy does not need to be a member of the Trust.  The proxy form must be delivered to the Trust at least 48 hours prior to the meeting, that is Tuesday 28 October 2025.
