Sunday’s Heritage Walk was an audible success!

With the help of a Heritage Grant received from the ACT Government, we are now able to offer our walkers personal audio equipment to better hear the guide leading the walks. The equipment was used for the first time at the weekend on our Westlake Walk.

The following is feedback from a participant, our very own President, Gary Kent:

“I participated in the Westlake tour this morning. As usual it was a well-researched and thoroughly enjoyable experience.  Tony Maple and John Fitzgerald were very capable and knowledgeable tour leaders.

This was the first time we had used our new audio equipment and it was a tremendous success.  The receivers and headsets/ear pieces were easy to use and they significantly enhanced the walk experience.

What a wonderful idea!”
