The ACT National Trust has sought amendments to Draft Territory Plan Variation 368 (changed criteria for developments along Canberra’s Northbourne Avenue between Mouat/Antill Street and Barry Drive/Cooyong Street). The Trust believes that there should be a thorough social impact assessment and urban design analysis to inform amendments to DV 368 that would explicitly recognise heritage places and ensure good urban design outcomes. We are particularly concerned about the loss of the vista to Black Mountain, an important part of the Griffin Plan.
