Talk, short walk and morning tea at Ginninderry
Discover the growing development of Ginninderry from its Aboriginal heritage, early European settlers through to one of Canberra’s newest communities. Hear from Tyson Powell, a Wiradjuri man with Ngunnawal family ties who has a strong passion for his culture and the land. Ange Calliess, like Tyson, is part of the Ginninderry Conservation Trust and will elaborate on her role and the current activities there. Historian Dr Mary Hutchison will speak about her work with community stories from the outset of Riverview’s development. Morning tea is included before we head outdoors for a short walk.
