Tucked away in Cook is this year’s historic venue for our popular end of year celebration. Amongst the 1970s residences is an aberration that is The Tack Shed, a beautifully restored building from the mid-1800s. Adjoining Mt Painter, this property is one of the last working farms in the Belconnen area. Part of the site boasts the heritage-listed Rosebud Apiary, a 1860s slab cottage built by Mark Southwell.
We will provide the usual Christmas refreshments – please bring a chair if possible. (We do have a back-up plan for wet or hot weather!)
