NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 48th Annual General Meeting of the National Trust of Australia (A.C.T.)
will be held on Thursday 19 October 2023, 5.30pm for 6.00pm.
Venue: Robertson Room, St Johns Church, Reid
Guest speaker: Mr Duncan Marshall AM, Chair of the Interim ACT Heritage Council.

The meeting will present and review the reports of the Trust’s activities,
announce the Volunteer of the Year, appoint the auditor, and elect
Councillors.
As per the Constitution, half of the Council will retire but is eligible for
renomination. Members are encouraged to consider nominating for election to
Council. Nominations must be made and seconded in writing signed by
current members of the Trust, and accompanied with signed consent from the
nominee. Members nominating for Council should attach a short statement of
their background and interest in becoming a Councillor. Nomination forms can
be obtained from the Trust office, phone 02 6230 0533 or email
info@nationaltrustact.org.au and must reach the office by
Thursday 12 October 2023.
Members have the right to appoint proxies. If a member appoints a proxy, the
proxy does not need to be a member of the Trust. The proxy form attached
must be delivered to the Trust as specified below at least 48 hours prior to the
meeting; that is by
5pm Tuesday 17 October 2023.
