Congratulations to all winners of 2024 National Trust of Australia (ACT) Heritage Awards.

Award winners were announced at an Awards presentation event on Tuesday, 10 September 2024 at Verity Lane Market and were presented by Minister for Heritage, Rebecca Vassarotti MLA.

In addition, Council has recognised the outstanding contribution of two individuals in two additional categories:

Lifetime Achievement Award: A person well regarded and recognised in the heritage community as having expert skills in heritage matters and contributed to many outcomes over many years

Awarded to: Michael Pearson

Outstanding Advocacy Award: A person who has offered their services on a complimentary basis to community groups and / or assisted community groups advocate their wishes over an extended time.

Awarded to Jane Goffman

About the Awards

The National Trust of Australia (ACT) Heritage Awards recognise projects that make a significant contribution to preserving or promoting the heritage of the ACT. We welcome nomination of any project which promotes the conservation of, or fosters public knowledge about, places, objects and issues that are significant to the heritage of the ACT.

Nominations for the 2025 Heritage Awards are expected to open from mid-2025.
