Duntroon House was the original homestead of Robert Campbell, who was granted land by the Governor of NSW in 1825. It is named after Duntroon Castle, in Argyllshire, Scotland. Built of solid stone and fitted throughout with cedar, it is now the Royal Military College Officers’ mess. This tour will give us a rare opportunity to step inside Duntroon House, as well as tour the heritage gardens with blossoming cherry trees, vibrant azalea hedges, and old climbing roses.
