Preserve the past. Enrich the future

Volunteers are at the heart of the National Trust of South Australia. Whether you’re passionate about history, nature, gardening, events or meeting new people, there’s a volunteer role for you.

Every hour you give helps protect the places, stories and landscapes that make South Australia special.

Our staff team coordinate volunteers in five main areas:

  • nature reserves and conservation
  • events, tour guiding and programming
  • collection research and digitisation
  • physically caring for buildings and museum collections
  • garden volunteers, specifically at Beaumont House and Stangate House

However, we are always interested to hear from people of different skill sets.
