The Willunga Uniting Cemetery, formerly Wesleyan Methodist, was established in 1844, and the earliest monument dates from 1846.There were four church buildings on the site and traces of three of them can be seen if you look closely.
Join us on this cemetery walk which will focus strongly on the Wesleyan Methodists who built Willunga. Well known artists James Cant and Dora Chapman are buried there and there are some excellent carved slate gravestones. Grade – easy (flat). Distance – short.
