The Oddie Lecture
The Oddie Lecture recognises the legacy of James Oddie, who was instrumental in the establishment of the Observatory in 1886.
The event will include a guest speaker presentation of the 2024 Oddie Lecture 4 on an aspect of history related to Astronomy.
Viewing at our heritage listed telescopes is a highlight if clear. With an optional extra tour of the Observatory.
