The Chinese Section of White Hills Cemetery: A Walking Tour

Join Golden Dragon Museum's Research Officer, Leigh McKinnon, on a walk into the past and learn about the Chinese section of the White Hills Cemetery.

Cemeteries are a fascinating source of information not only about the people buried in them but also their families, communities, beliefs, and customs. Traditions can differ from place to place, even from town to town and learning about them and the people who followed them is an excellent way to better understand and appreciate both the people and their ways of living.

Please meet at the Cemetery’s main gate in Plumridge Street. This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately, wear comfortable shoes, and bring water if you will need some.
