Richmond – a place of many firsts

Join us for a thrilling journey through the rich history of the iconic Richmond by David Langdon president of Richmond, Burnley and Cremorne Historical Society.

Join The Richmond & Burnley Historical Society at Ardency Kennedy Place for a talk during Heritage Month by President David Langdon. David will delve into the rich history of Richmond, one of Melbourne’s early suburbs, where many firsts took place. From the introduction of Cable Cars, the first Balloon Flight, its first Prime Minister, and much more. With change comes opportunity and innovation, as many firsts take off to lead the way in manufacturing and growth. Join us following the presentation in the Kennedy Club for afternoon tea, where you will get to see views over Richmond and connect with Richmond’s industrial past.
