Re-imagining built heritage through art – connecting our young people with their past.

The Grove Library has asked local students to re-imagine their local built heritage through art. Children from local primary schools will use local heritage buildings to guide their development of unique art works which will be exhibited in the library during the Heritage Festival.

The Art Exhibition put on at the Grove Library is a free event running from the 8th to the 22nd of April 2024.

The event will feature stunning art works representative of heritage homes in the Peppermint Grove and Cottesloe areas.

Children from PLC, Cottesloe Primary and North Cottesloe Primary will exhibit art works they have created that celebrate their connection to the built heritage in their community.
